Vintage guitars for sale: G&L

1982 G&L SC-2; all original, with original hard-shell case. This guitar was used on the Taylor Swift "Red Tour" by one of her musicians. A few years back, I bought it from a guy in Nashville who lived next door to a musician in the Taylor Swift entourage. She had borrowed the SC-2 from him specifically for the Red Tour (I think her name is Caitlyn?). He included several pics (& picks) and even the snakeskin strap she used. This guitar has been in my possession for over 25 years. I'm an acoustic player and this guitar has stayed in the case most-of-the-time. Items worth note: VERY little fret wear on "jumbo" frets (quite wide by acoustic standards). Original case, original tremolo bar, original condition. For sale is this very cool G&L L2000e from 1984. One owner, good condition. Original hardshell case included. This bass is in perfect, unmodified working condition. All electronics are totally original and working properly. There is some belt buckle rash but it doesn??t penetrate the finish. There is a chip on the edge on the back of the headstock. All minor blemishes should be visible in pics

Beautiful vintage G&L definitely has some ware but for 40 years old this thing feels and sounds great pickups are super clean and hold gain we??ll just an over all great guitar and a piece of history I??ve had it for about 4-5 months now and just couldn??t put it down but I need the cash so sadly have to let it go

G&L records show this L2000 bass left the factory May 11, 1981. 1 5 / 8 nut width with a 7 5 inch fretboard radius and medium jumbo frets. Has some fret and neck wear from being played because these were excellent sounding instruments. Weight is 10 pounds and 11 ounces and the beautiful mahogany body has some light checking on the finish that was hard to photograph. This listing is for one (1) G&L ASAT, guitar body from the late 80's. I bought this from a former G&L employee. One day in 1988 he was tasked with chopping up a bunch of factory rejects and throwing them out. They cut them up to discourage dumpster divers. He came back after work and took it all home.
