Up for sale is a very cool German made Framus Caravelle hollow body guitar from the late '60s. This model is rare in general, but this version with the painted on F holes and orange finish alá the Gretsch Nashville is not only painfully cool, but outrageously unusual. The acoustic at one point was routed for someone to drop a loaded pickguard in it so it could be an electric acoustic
The bridge has been repaired at some point, but as you can see in the pictures, the peg holes will need some routing because some of the pegs can't fit in their place now

This Framus Atlantic thinline hollow body guitar is in near mint condition. There are a few tiny lacquer cracks on the body and there is some lacquer crazing on the headstock but that's about it, I can guarantee you won't find one of these in better condition. Da ich vor einer Weile auf ein anderes Instrument umgestiegen bin, ist diese Gitarre kaum genutzt und deshalb wunderbar in Schuss. Keinerlei Gebrauchsspuren bis auf einen Fehler im Lack in den ersten beiden Bünden, diese waren aber schon beim Kauf vorhanden. Keine Ahnung wie das passiert ist. Gemäss Seriennummer stammt die Gitarre wohl aus dem Jahre 1959 (D59). Sie ist in Anbetracht ihres Alters in einem sehr guten Zustand. Natürlich sind diverse Dings und Dongs vorhanden (siehe Fotos) und auch der Lack weist feine Risse auf. Dies verleiht der Gitarre aber Charme und beeinträchtigt den tollen Look nicht. Verkaufe aus meiner privaten Gitarrensammlung eine sehr gut erhaltene Framus Sorella Thinline. Das Label im Korpusinneren fehlt, der Stempel im Inneren lautet auf August 66. die weißen P90 Pickups gab es aber erst Anfang 68. die Gitarre wurde also vermutlich erst 68 von Framus ausgeliefert
Der Korpus weist fast keine Dings und Dongs auf, lediglich an der unteren Zarge sind welche sichtbar. Die hellen Flecken auf den Bildern sind Lichtreflexionen, keine Kratzer. Der Hals wurde refinished und... more
