Fender? Tweed lap steel guitar case from 1950s or 1960s with Greg Stritch's name stenciled on the top. It looks like the tweed covering Fender frequently used but there's no logo indicating that. The exterior shows wear and cigarette burns. The hinges and locks work well. The interior is very clean with only minor wear. Here is a rather rare instrument that is in very fine condition. This a Studio Deluxe model steel guitar in Desert Sand finish that dates to 1957 by codes on potentiometers. Scale length is 22 1 / 2" and guitar currently setup for open E tuning. Guitar plays and sounds great!
Original electronics and Kluson Deluxe tuners work great and Stackpole pots have been cleaned with contact cleaner. One Stackpole pot dates to 1956 and the other 1957. Instrument has been thoroughly cleaned and polished.... more

For sale is this very cool 60s Guyatone double lapsteel. This came from the estate of a country western bluegrass musician here in SWKS. Ive done my best to describe it below! Please read carefully!

Early to mid 1960s Pre-CBS Fender Deluxe 8 console non-pedal steel. Come with all 3 original legs (2 rubber feet missing).
