This is a nice original chrome cover set from a 1965 Fender Precision Bass. Of course the set is also correct for 1962 thru 1973 P Basses. The chrome is in excellent condition with some minor oxidation (no rust) and fine scratches but this is a solid set. They will easily polish up if so desired but then you would ruin the vintage vibe of these covers. The (4) screws are original with some minor oxidation and some surface rust.

A rare gem this one is. This reissue is, in my opinion, the closest you??ll get to an original ?62 without spending a fortune. It??s set up with La Bella Flatwounds and sounds like a Motown record. Perfect for the James Jamerson sound.
It plays smooth as butter. The stamp indicates the date of manufacture to be February 14, 1997.

The bass is in excellent condition with one unfortunate ding on the lower edge between the strap pin and the input jack. Some of the paint has chipped off there, but there is no other damage or dings or dents anywhere else on the guitar and the top is very clean
