Behold this stunning early version of the Fender Musicmaster Bass in Olympic White finish! At 7 5 lbs, this bass is much lighter than later models--this is a gigger than needs to keep on gigging! Plays incredibly well with flat wound or round wound stings. Currently has flatwounds but I'll ship with roundwounds if you want. I can also send it in a Fender G&G Jazz Bass hard case for an additional $120

This vintage Fender Musicmaster short scale electric bass guitar is in great condition! There are some light scratches on the body, but none where the paint is scratched off. Any light spots in the photos are reflections from a disco ball or other lights in the room.

Recently found this instrument in my local pawn shop. It was expensive, but I was not going to leave it behind
Comments:
1. The single coil, single pickup is not super loud 2. If you look carefully at photo's there is evidence of a green paint (Oxidized Sonic Blue?) under the black. (I did not remove pickguard to investigate) I have heard that at the Fender factory, when a custom color paint job failed QC, bodies were put back on the line and painted black 3. This is a bit of an interesting one an altogether well playing, great sounding and unique vintage bass for not a lot of money!
