This is original Fender grill cloth was cut to the following size (17 7 / 8" Wide by 18 1 / 8" Tall) from a master bolt remnant that I had purchased back in the mid 1990's. Silver Sparkle used 1964-1967 on Fender Blackface amps. This particular piece is certainly large enough to accommodate either a Fender Champ or Fender Vibro-Champ from that period

1959-1960 Fender Bassman 5F6-A Amplifier

This vintage Bassman has the original tweed covering, grill cloth and all of the main components are original. Some capacitors have been changed. One of the speakers was bad and has been replaced, but the same style Jenson from the same year was used. Original Victoria luggage company Brown canvas cover originally on a 1962 Bandmaster. The original owner put some holes through the top of the cover (a common user modification) so that the thumb attachment screws would protrude and connect to the amplifier head. These holes are at 25 inch centers which would be the correct spacing for the Bandmaster. The Bandmaster model would be 6G7-A with 2x12" Cabinet. Vintage Price guide puts the 1972 Princeton as the last year of prized circuits see pic. It??s the same as the 65 but with more headroom. Amp is near mint and is the quietest Fender amp I have ever owned and the Vibrato and Reverb are the best on the Princeton for some reason as well. No disappointments. How often does a Tweed Fender come for sale in the UK!? This beautiful 1955 Fender Harvard is a really early example, dating to 1955. It's the 5F10 circuit, so think Steve Cropper. Cosmetically in good condition, with all the original tweed present. For sale is my 1973 Fender Pro Reverb. This is a non master volume version with 40W of power. It has the obvious cosmetic aging that you would normally expect with an amp of this era which I think makes it look even better. The amp has been serviced in 2023 in which the filter caps and output valves were changed and the amp was biased. All the pre amp valves have also been replaced in 2025. It also has a new set of Jensen CK12s installed as one of the original speakers was damaged

1964 Blackface Fender Concert amp
The amp is a 4x10 speaker configuration. Although the speakers have been changed (Three are from 2008 and one from 2009)they are Jensen special design 10 inch speakers that are sympathetic to the amplifierand they sound fantastic. 1965 (December) Fender Bandmaster 40W guitar amp head, with double input step-down transformer (USA 110V) for Australian 240V at the wall plug, and vintage replica tremolo foot switch which i bought and has correct RCA type connection to plug. Note: Having this separate step-down transformer will stop any power surges / drops damaging the amp
Valves: 2 x 6L6 valves are Sovtek, and 3 x 12AX7's are GrooveTubes, plus 1 x AX7 just says 'japan', these were ok'ed by Andrew Kay (see pics); ... more
