Some scratches and string wear on the chrome cover. worn Pat. number sticker on back. Reads 6 06 on my meter. Original solder to the cover. This is from a late 50's or 60's Gibson EB-2 bass guitar. The pickguard is in solid condition and comes with its original bracket.
The bracket has some nice patina on it. It would polish up nicely if desired. The guard has some marks running the length of it. I tried to get them to show in the light. They are not scratches and not into the pickguard material. They are certainly normal playwear I just like to over-describe so there are no surprises when it arrives

This is a pretty rare bass from the famous 1980s 'Mint Collection' range made for Greco by Fuji-Gen - they don't come up for sale very often. Some of the later (from 1990?) models are designated as 'Clear Sound Project' but, judging from the headstock inlay and the tuners, this is a 'Mint Collection'. The serial number dates it to 1985
