It has seen service over the years and has a modern 3 prong power cable installed. It has volume & tone controls, plus a combination on / off / polarity knob. It has the original 10" speaker. Like the Fender Champ these Epiphone Pacemakers were "student" amps. But their tube tone is deliciously simple, thick, and deep. Pacemakers are perfect for practice and recording. This baby spent a lot of time in the studio. If you can't tell the difference between transistors and tube tones this amp isn't for you. But if you can, these vintage Epiphones are a steal. Seldom seen. This head works great and sounds wonderful. There is a small hum that is overshadowed by any playing. This amp has been brought into modern times with a grounded 3 prong plug and changed electrolytics. Has original transformers and pots. Knobs have been changed. Tubes are not original. Early 64 when they were still using Je sen speaker before they swit hed over to the cheaper, not as good a sounding CTS speakers in late 64 onward. These Jensens just sound amazimg

Reverb works but theres an oscillation that enters the mix (maybe a bad tube, i don't know)  tremelo came on for 1 second .now it doesn't work.

Sounds great, fully functional. My main guitar amplifier for years, but has not been used recently. Some surface rust on the front metal panel which might be able to be cleaned off. Normal wear on the case for the age with imperfections in the vinyl covering
