She's definitely been rocked, with signs of wear throughout, I've circled the 2 biggest dings on the bass

Epiphone ET285, all original vintage solid-body bass in very good condition with excellent finish and a straight neck. Made in Japan between 1961-70, according to serial number. I never gigged it out, just took it to a local practice. Long-scale, sunburst-black finish, well taken care of and preserved. I am selling a vintage 1972 Epiphone 4 string short scale bass guitar with its original case. Made in Japan. I have another guitar just like this with a perfect pickguard and I am going to put this perfect pickguard on this bass. The case is useable

Epiphone ET-280, made in Japan in 1972, Matsumoku factory

It is in beautiful condition, only a couple of very small cosmetic details can be seen around the body (see last couple pictures) , but it is virtually in mint condition. All frets, fretboard, neck, body, and parts in impressive condition despite being built over 50 years ago. The only bad thing is the bridge cover: it is not original, but a very similar one
