This is a cool vintage instrument. We just put fresh strings on it. Sounds and plays so good! Straight neck. Fully functional. Made in Italy. It has electronics. The jack has something a little off in that if you jiggle the cord sometimes the sound will cut in and out. It could be the tip needs pressed in more. Simple fix. Sounds good as an acoustic. This guitar has some dings and scratches over the years giving it character, but nothing major. Someone will love this blast from the past!

Has been restrung with new elixir phosphor bronze strings. Some truss rod adjustment has levelled the action and made it super enjoyable and easy to play - less spanky at topmost frets. Very good condition despite age. It has a few bumps here and there, and a very visible crack in the top, as shown in the pictures (these cracks are extremely common in Eko acoustic guitars, as they are made of plywood). Vintage Italian Eko 12 string "Elektra" electro-acoustic. A lovely 1960s example of an Eko 12 string - in good condition for its age and plays well with decent action. No serious flaws or defects that affect playability. There is a small lacquer finish crack at the neck and this has not expanded during my ownership. This particular model is quite rare, particularly so in this condition. Beautiful looking guitar, the wood used on the back is remarkable

This is a late 60's Ranger 12 with the white sci-fi 'bubble' logo and scroll label, serial number approximates the guitar to 1968
This is one of the best pieces around with no lacquer cracks or usual issues seen with 99% of these
At nearly 60 its a great piece!
Nice low action and ships with a good quality slightly later premium case with alloy trim

Out of the entire original Ranger series, made for 20 years from 1964 to 1984, this is one of the most sought after and hard to find versions
The ?J65 / I?? is the one of the earliest forms of this iconic guitar, in later years renamed the Ranger XII and the design was subsequently downgraded
Made circa 1966 before being renamed the ?Ranger?? this is a first edition piece in full trim

Ships with period correct, possibly original teardrop case + documentation
Condition excellent and above average for a circa 55 year old guitar
Couple of lacquer checks near pick guard and control knobs, these will be sealed as part of the restore, or left original if preferred

If you're in the market for a Ranger 6, then this is about as good as it gets! Made in Italy as EKO and rebranded ESTON, for the Australian market, this guitar in superb condition and comes complete with the rare and original factory pickup. Crafted in 1969,   this Eston Ranger 6 is a testament to Italian guitar-making, to the extent that Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin was a known Eko Ranger player
