The body is in very good shape with minimal dings. There is a paint checking in the finish which is very common on the Baldwin / Burns guitars of this era. None of which are structural at all
The pickups had to be rewound and they sound great. The rest of the electronics are all original ... more

Beautiful early 70s Baldwin Ode Walnut 5 string banjo. Gold plate is faded but overall condition of this banjo is good. Some wear and marking on side of resonator and neck has some play wear. Set up nicely with hard case not the same as pictured. Spiked on b# A B and C positions. Priced to sell.

Vintage Baldwin Professional C3 - 100 watt solid state guitar amp head. I believe this could be a crop job (nicely done), it may have been a combo that someone changed to a head? Not sure about that??
It has a new power transformer, & a long spring reverb tank.
Ch 1 works fine but no reverb? Don??t think it??s the tank. Maybe cable?
Ch 2 works, but very weak??

Baldwin ODE long neck aluminum body banjo. Very Pete Seeger. I believe this banjo is from the early 1970s. I also believe it has Brazilian Rosewood head stock and fretboard. It has had a fifth string capo added. In excellent condition for the age. This was professionally played and properly cared for. Has been stored for many years. Vintage set of Van Ghent 1960s Guitar tuners in very good used working condition. As you can probably see from the pics the small philips screws to attach tuners to the headstock which can be easily sourced are missing. Also 3 philips screws that hold covers on, plus 2 covers missing. Perfect for burns or baldwin restoration. Becoming rare so gab them before there gone

Vintage set of Van Ghent 1960s Guitar tuners in very good used working condition. As you can probably see from the pics the chrome covers are missing but i do have the small screws to attach tuners to the headstock that are'nt in the pics. Comes complete with ferrules. All original 1966 Burns, Baldwin baby bison purchased from the wife of Dave Meredith, who was the first British bass player to back Jimi Hendrix. So this guitar has some history to it!
The instrument is in great condition for it's age, with beautiful finish checking from top to bottom. Some small nicks and dings here and there, all adding to it's charm
This is the guitar to have if you want a piece of Rock 'n' Roll history!

1967 Baldwin / Burns Marvin
Wow in time capsule condition is this 1967 Baldwin Burns Marvin. Burns always used polyurethane paint right from the early 1960??s which is much more robust than its nitrocellulose equivalent, however it is prone to cracking which is unavoidable and also discolouring from UV exposure which is not the case with this example . A great example of a Baldwin 712. Impossible to precisely date, but only produced between 1967 and 1970. Stunning looking vintage instrument, especially that crazy scroll headstock! Baldwin 712 12 String Electric Guitar, built 1967 by Baldwin Burns. Of the kind used by the likes of Al Jardine of the Beach Boys.
Fully working and refurbished with a brand new truss rod. Original truss rod gear system is in the case, which is also original but has seen better days.
Right-handed with a hollow body and a brown sunburst finish
Some age-related cosmetic cracks and some marks to the headstock
