This came from a similar matching set of a PE and Tri-Sound TSB-550 that was given to Neal Schon from Aria Company, Made by framed Matsumoku Factory, Japan. Designed by Mr. Hayashi for a possible endosement, Aria Pro II PE-NS Guitar.

Plays and sounds incredible. shows wear but in all the right places. Matsumoto, Japan made! pickups sound great and all electronics work as they should. Recently setup with flex steel strings

Heavily modified Aria Pro II Thor Sound, TSB-550, made in Japan in the 80??s

This bass has a repaired cracked body (see last 2 pictures) and now it??s great, but it was also re-painted, re-fretted, have new inlays, and the pickup was replaced.
The nitrocellulose lacquer paint job is pretty decent, although is not perfect ( as seen with the reflection of the light) and feels a bit uneven to the touch on the back of the body.

Aria Pro II TS-600. classic Matsumoko factory vintage guitar. Glued neck. active circuitry. I found a guitar with almost the same serial number dated to 1979. This is a very rare transition model so the spec is different from the typical TS-600 (no straight through neck). Plays really well. The active circuit has a crazy number of tone variations and you can spend forever just messing with the options. Circuitry is all original
