Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1960's Ampeg SSB-1 short-scale bass. This is the earliest version made with a serial number of #0100 which was the starting serial number for all Ampeg basses, making this the first Ampeg electric bass made. Almost all of the other SSB series basses were solid bodies where this version has F-holes and only a few were made. It has a great playing neck with great frets. The Ampeg AUB-1 in the photos is what you would be purchasing. There is a lot of paint wear which is common on these because of how they are finished. The bridge was replaced at some point in the past by the original owner. The neck also has some extra paint over the dots that was put there to make it easier to see.
