It??s been well used, I bought last year and I believe there was one owner before me who had it from new
It??s obviously been well used over the years, with heavy patinas all over which add to the charm
Huge sound, has the Guild brightness but really well rounded and sounds its age!
Includes an LR Baggs Anthem which I had installed last year.
Collection preferred in Milton Keynes or can be flexible on meeting in London or within 50 miles or so ... more

Has upgraded valves, mix of good quality modern and NOS vintage
Full working order, good visual condition, only ever used for recording - no gigs

Cabinet is unbranded but very strong, thick construction with Celestion V30s. The tolex on the cab is in poor condition but it's taped over.... more

1966 Vox Bassmaster electric bass guitar UK JMI. Unusual dark Sunburst finish. This has not been played so much and consequently is in pretty clean condition for its age. Still has the original co-ax output jack - you'll need the correct lead to use this bass. Complete and all-original. Five-digit serial number on headstock reverse. Neck date is December 1965.

Scratchplate for an early-mid 1960s Gibson EB-0 bass guitar - suitable for the earlier wide (generally nickel-plated) pickup covers - i e. the pickup cutout on this pickguard is 58mm wide. Original 1960s part. This is a three-ply guard in good condition - some surface wear (it's a scratchplate!) but no broken tips or cracks around screw holes. Have a good look at the images

Nice condition Vox Soundcaster (UK, JMI) scratchplate with complete wiring loom (except pickups). Full working order. All three pots date to February 1965. It is in pretty good shape for its age, but naturally has small surface scratches and minor screw marks, but no breaks, splits or missing tips

Gibson back plate / control cavity cover for a Gibson SG Junior circa 1960-62 or EB-0 bass 1961-1965. This actually came from a 1964 Gibson EB-0 bass but is the correct part for an early SG Junior too

Ferro Sonic pickup from the bridge position of a 1967 Vox Astro bass - as used on various other Italian Vox bass guitars of the time, plus other basses made by the same plant by Eko, Shaftesbury etc. Neck measures 4 02 kohms. 23cm lead. Tested and working. Obviously quite old so some surface wear. With all mounting screws, surrounds springs and original leads. The surround mounting screws are a bit tarnished - see last image. 1974 Maxon EB-style pickup. Date code is 24829 (29th August 1974). As used on numerous Japanese basses from the early 1970s. I have had this for years and frankly don't recall precisely which bass it came from. Has some wear as to be expected from a 50+ year old part, but generally in pretty good shape. Reads 9 98K. No mounting screws.... more

Scratchplate for a late 1960s Gibson EB-0 bass guitar - suitable for the narrower late sixties (generally chrome-plated) pickup cover (without plastic surround) - i e. the pickup cutout measures 54mm. Original 1960s part. This is a three-ply guard in fairly good condition - it has splits at three of the screwholes, where mounting screws have been overtightened, but no tips are broken off. This is an original 1960s Italian Vox (EME) wiring loom for the teardrop-shaped Stinger bass. The components included are three Italian Lesa potentiometers (2 x 100k, 1 x 500k), output jack, three-way switch and two Arco brand capacitors 0 047 and 0 10. In good working order. The pots are held in place by two metal spacer bars soldered onto their backs. One has come unsoldered, but otherwise all in good original condition.... more

Original late 1960s Italian Vox bass bridge - this came from an Astro IV, but is also correct for the Apollo, Sidewinder, Spyder, Skybolt and Saturn basses. Two of the intonation screws (and their springs too presuambly) are not original (note they have slotted rather than cross head), but they are the correct size and thread and work perfectly.... more

Vintage floating bridge. The saddle part is from a late 1950s Hofner Senator President or Congress (maybe others). It is dark ebonized maple and marked 02 on the underside. The base is made of rosewood, so a lighter redder brown. The two parts don't exactly match, but they fit and work well

This is an original 1960s Kalamazoo KB bass pickguard (made by Gibson in Kalamazoo). It is in pretty bad shape, glued together in various places, with cracks, slight paint residue, split screw holes and minor warping. Have a good look at the images all damage / repairs is there to see. However, it is an original 1960s part and could be used if you have nothing else (you could also strengthen it with a backing of some sort) or as a template to make a new one.
