Scratchplate for an early-mid 1960s Gibson EB-0 bass guitar - suitable for the earlier wide (generally nickel-plated) pickup covers - i e. the pickup cutout on this pickguard is 58mm wide. Original 1960s part. This is a three-ply guard in good condition - some surface wear (it's a scratchplate!) but no broken tips or cracks around screw holes. Have a good look at the images

Nice condition Vox Soundcaster (UK, JMI) scratchplate with complete wiring loom (except pickups). Full working order. All three pots date to February 1965. It is in pretty good shape for its age, but naturally has small surface scratches and minor screw marks, but no breaks, splits or missing tips

1974 Maxon EB-style pickup. Date code is 24829 (29th August 1974). As used on numerous Japanese basses from the early 1970s. I have had this for years and frankly don't recall precisely which bass it came from. Has some wear as to be expected from a 50+ year old part, but generally in pretty good shape. Reads 9 98K. Scratchplate for a late 1960s Gibson EB-0 bass guitar - suitable for the narrower late sixties (generally chrome-plated) pickup cover (without plastic surround) - i e. the pickup cutout measures 54mm. Original 1960s part. This is a three-ply guard in fairly good condition - it has splits at three of the screwholes, where mounting screws have been overtightened, but no tips are broken off. In fair condition: I believe this may have got wet at some point. It is a bit beat up but is fully functioning. The plating is not great though; whilst it is quite thick, it is lifting up in several places (bubbling and peeling at the edges)

1967 Vox Astro bass body. This has had a few repairs where the body has come apart and been re glued. Look at the body end near where the end pin would be. It has quite a thin laminate body and is quite fragile around thinner areas - there is some damage around the f-holes for example. The thick finish is also cracking and lifting up in some places also - for example the upper part of the front and around the jack hole. This body will work as is, but could be improved further with a little tlc. ... more

This is an original 1960s Italian Vox (EME) wiring loom for the teardrop-shaped Stinger bass. The components included are three Italian Lesa potentiometers (2 x 100k, 1 x 500k), output jack, three-way switch and two Arco brand capacitors 0 047 and 0 10. In good working order. The pots are held in place by two metal spacer bars soldered onto their backs. One has come unsoldered, but otherwise all in good original condition.... more

Original late 1960s Italian Vox bass bridge - this came from an Astro IV, but is also correct for the Apollo, Sidewinder, Spyder, Skybolt and Saturn basses. Two of the intonation screws (and their springs too presuambly) are not original (note they have slotted rather than cross head), but they are the correct size and thread and work perfectly.... more

This is the neck from a Commodore N25 electric semi acoustic. Made by Matsumoku in Japan circa 1972. Similar to necks fitted to other brands made at the same plant including Ventura, Univox, Epiphone EA-250 etc. Missing all parts (no truss rod nut, no tuners, no logo), so sold for parts only. Has a long finish crack along one edge, though this appears to be in the red finish only. You can clearly see the unracked yellow base coat below this. It looks as if someone may have attempted to touch up ... more

This is an Avon 3424 scratchplate - this is a copy of a Gibson Marauder made in Japan in the mid-1970s. This guitar may have been available with other branding too - Diamond maybe? Check out the screw hole pattern to make sure it lines up with your guitar. Although the same size, this will NOT fit a Gibson without making new screw holes!
This is in good used condition - note the potentiometer holes - it seems one extra (maybe a mini toggle?) hole has been drilled.... more

This is an original 1960s Kalamazoo KB bass pickguard (made by Gibson in Kalamazoo). It is in pretty bad shape, glued together in various places, with cracks, slight paint residue, split screw holes and minor warping. Have a good look at the images all damage / repairs is there to see. Aria headstock with tuning keys and truss rod cover. I am not 100% sure what precise model this came from, probably a 1980s or 1990s Aria PE les paul type guitar - but maybe a similar model. Original mid 1960s Vox part, out of my Vox parts box. I can not be 100% sure what guitar I took this from, I think a 1963 Vox Ace. Definitely 1960s JMI Vox. Will fit numerous JMI (UK) guitar and bass models. JMI used different sized neck plates during their 1960s Vox manufacture. This is 2" x 2 3 / 8" (for screw spacing 1 1 / 2" x 1 7 / 8" approx), and 1 66mm thick. No serial number or other markings
