This vintage icon was built in the famous Kalamazoo factory and is in excellent condition for age, with just minor signs of wear as you'd expect given age, and some light buckle marks out of sight on the back, when they catch the light. It's clearly been carefully looked after over the years, and has no breaks or repairs and the frets are in excellent condition

The first unique element of this guitar is how light it is only 8lb 4oz! Given 70's LP Customs tend to be a backbreaking 1012lb in most cases, it's likely that the pancake body has been chambered at some point to provide some weight relief although we have no way of checking if this is the case. Yamaha SB2 vintage bass. There's not a lot of information on these around but it seems to be a 1966 model, made in the hugely well regarded Nippon Gakki factory. These are high quality basses that are comparable in quality to contemporary Fenders, highly playable and with their own quirky styling. Early Ibanez Lawsuit 2354. (Gibson SG copy) Made in the Fujigen factory, Japan. I suspect that this is a '71 model going by the old Ibanez catalogues and looking at the pickups inside (see photos) Pickup construction is identical to the later branded Maxon Super 70, with one bar flat and the other crenellated. In overall good condition for age but is in need of some simple TLC Two tuning pegs missing, the nut is missing, the bottom strap button is missing and there are a few scuffs and scrapes!
