Made in Japan late 60s Sakai guitar. In the style of a burns or mosrite. It seems to have replacement tuners and I can get sound out of the neck pickup only, bridge pickup is currently non working. Sure it??d be an easy fix for someone who knows what they??re doing.
The guitar is covered in age related marks and there??s some fret wear. This is a surprisingly nice playing example and the neck pickup has a fantastic sound - Good output / volume that could keep up in a band situation ... more

E W Rogers?? Classical Guitar
I brought this second hand over 25 years ago, it was a bit of a mess when I got it, but I could tell it well made so took a gamble. I put it through Alan Marshall's workshop (Northworthy) and he completed the following work:
· Neck sand and respray (lacquer)
· Sourced and fitted replacement machine heads
· New nut (bone)

Is it perfect ? No, it??s 45 years old and has some minor marks on the front and a small chip on the head ( see photos )
Is there any major damage ? No, apart from the minor dings already mentioned, it is in good condition for its age , no cracks or splits etc
Machine heads ?? all working well, nice and firm and in good condition
Does it need new strings ? Definitely, the strings are old, dull and toneless, but, I??d rather keep the price as it is rather than put new strings on, ... more
