There is some electronic controls that came with it but I do not know how to install them so I will leave that up to the new owner. Nice condition, all original and working as it should. I would say the only downside is that the tremolo arm gets loose rather easily, but it??s not that bad. If I missed any negative detail apart from the one I??ve mentioned, remember: it is used, and it is a vintage low cost instrument, so beware if you never owned one of these before.

1960??s cherry red with cream binding, Kay K561 Speed Demon Archtop Electric Acoustic Guitar - made in USA. All original and in great condition. Very straight neck. Volume and tone pots and pickup working perfectly and provide a beautiful, rich, resonant sound that you can only get from an older instrument

Includes its original hard shell case in good condition.

A very cool find, 1960s Silvertone badged Kay Vanguard II which has been modded and refretted. Plays great, rich resonant tone and sustain and stays in tune too When I got this it was pretty sad, frets filed flat slipping / missing tuners and a tremolo that knocked the strings out of tune when you even looked at it. And the nitro finish flaking and peeling off the neck every time you touched it
I have given the neck a partial respray using nitrocellulose lacquer and replaced the headstock ... more
