GIBSON VINTAGE 1954 GA-5 LES PAUL JR AMPLIFIER IN EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION
This is a 3-tube amplifier using 5Y3 rectifier, 6SJ7 preamp, and 6V6 output. I replaced the old filter capacitors with 600 volt electrolytics. The coupling capacitors were leaky, and replaced them with 630 volt film capacitors, insuring the amplifier would work for many years to come without failures from the old paper capacitors.
