This is a vintage 1954 Fender 5D3 Tweed Deluxe that came right before the 5E3 iteration. And yes, it still retains its original canvas cover from Victoria Luggage Company in Los Angeles, California. It's kind of funny listing a part for restoration that needs restoration! But it's a genuine Fender knob from a 1956 Telecaster that is also correct for Precision Bass. It's in decent shape, well-worn knurling and cool patina that looks like crazing in the chrome. The hole has been drilled out, probably because the original screw was frozen. It can be repaired by bleeding solder into the hole and then redrilling and tapping it for a new set screw. I've done it with ... more
