Very good condition despite age. It has a few bumps here and there, and a very visible crack in the top, as shown in the pictures (these cracks are extremely common in Eko acoustic guitars, as they are made of plywood). This is a 1960??s Gibson Blue Ridge 12 String Jumbo. For its age it??s in surprisingly good condition. It??s tuned to dropped D and played with a capo on second fret to give E tuning. This is a sensible tuning choice for Gibson guitars of this age, particularly 12 strings as the pressure of full E tuning can cause bridge lift and high action. Its a collectors piece due to it being the top factory model, and also dated 1984 as per the label .
The factory had all but closed around 1983, so to find any of their higher end acoustic guitars made in 1984 is nigh on impossible, this is the only El Dorado we have seen from this year, possibly even unique

A lovely vintage 12 string guitar in hard case , has a few dings here and there but nothing much, it had upgraded tuning pegs and new strings, it??s a smaller body than some I??ve seen but wow what a stunner. The hard case as missing latches but will still keep it safe . Will be well wrapped for postage but I will not post to Argos or the like as they often refuse large parcels but happy to post to your address. The writing on the headstock is faded. Hoyer, made in Germany.
Really well built and quality guitar with nice woods, beautiful neck construction and a carved arched back.
As pictured, it's suffered a headstock neck break which appears to have had a slightly messy but solid repair.
It will also need some work loosening up or replacing the tuning pegs but other than that seems to be in pretty good shape. Has a lovely warm tone even with its old strings!
