The serial number is 102064 which dates it to 1967. The body is in very good condition overall, but has some small dings, scratches, scuffs and finish checking. Someone decided to install a master volume pot on the pickguard and cut a small hole on the lower f-hole. It's pretty crazy what people did back in the day, but the hole is covered up completely by the pickguard. acoustically its Very loud and jangly due to its big body and plugged in you can get some nice warm tones too

Most guitars made in Japan in the 60's t 80's were well built, made of quality woods and well designed. This was due to the Luthiers who came from Spain to train the Japanese guitar makers. The brand 'Sheltone' seems to be of the 'Harmony' school. It has a nice low action, It has a really lovely deep resonant tone and compares with any Epiphone or Yamaha. I have been informed by him and this is confirmed by the label that this is one of the original guitars built in the factory in Italy He has also stated that it was made in the 1960s, information given to him when he bought it

Lovely guitar that I learned to play on. It is well used, and well travelled. Was made in the 70s in Korea - hand made I think. Model D1205. Deep red colour, with black detailing.
Several of the tunning nobs need replacing, as with the nobs that hold the strings into the guitar at the base.
Comes with a strap and a black soft carrying case. The case has paint on it, and the handle is coming loose.
I've only ever had 6 strings on it, but it can take 12 steel strings.
