El Maya EM 1000. Made in Japan circa 1970's A great players guitar but also highly collectible. Current owner 30+years. Everything works as it should. Action is good and the frets are in excellent condition. The Gold hardware Tuners Bridge Neckplate etc. has lost some of its shine but that is to be expected after nearly 50 years This is a great example of a high quality vintage Japanese made guitar of the era. Beautiful sounding 1970's Japanese Les Paul Custom copy. This is a players grade guitar, showing general signs of use with the odd nick and ding here and there, but this is to be expected from a fifty year old guitar. Comes with original rusty screws and the pickguard bracket has corroded a fair amount. Overall a very tasty looking instrument with lots of character.... more

Bass guitar body from a 1970s Japanese made Eros Jazz bass. 1970s , I have seen the same on basses branded Columbus, CMI, Maya amongst others. Used condition, a past owner stripped the finish and varnished it , its not the best job but does nicely highlight the 'sandwich' style body wood with maple veneer front and back - see pics. Beautifully constructed vintage 1970s guitar made in Japan by Chushin gakki. Lovely Sen ash grains in the body and high end 1 piece maple neck. The El Maya line was a quality mid to high end series of guitars that is highly regarded amongst guitar enthusiasts.
