This guitar was serviced (Setup & Repair) in June 2023, by Detroit Guitar, in Birmingham, Michigan

Truss rod ~ may ~ be seized. Minimal force was used in an attempt to adjust the truss rod, however, to avoid the risk of damaging the neck, truss rod adjustment was skipped.

1968 Gibson-made ES 335 in fantastic playing, sounding, and aesthetic condition. This features a stunning cherry finish, block inlay, trapeze tailpiece, and original hard shell case. The only non-original parts found on this guitar are simply the strap buttons, as well as reissue tuning machine heads. Light scratches / dings can be found on the finish from its obvious age, the only significant flaw would be a slight crack on the back headstock tip (as pictured) not affecting the guitar's ... more

Testable Condition - Amp appears to be in working order, but sound quality and wear on the speakers is noticeable. The bass is a little slurred / muddy and the highs / tweeter might be lacking. High frequencies could be heard but sounded very "out of proportion" to the bass
