This great guitar is an original Guild Model X-150 from way back in 1954 . While this is mostly original , it does have what appears to be an aftermarket tailpiece, and it had a modern aftermarket truss rod cover, which we have removed. We are trying to find a cover that is more correct, but for now it is photographed, and it is being sold without a truss rod cover The bridge is correct, but it just looks too new for me to call it original. I purchased this machine because nothing rock quite like an old Hsgstrom II. This one is original but has been modified to a hardtail bridge, and the complex switching has been changed to a simple toggle-3 position system. This Epiphone by Gibson Rock bass is the only one I've ever seen with "Epiphone by Gibson" actually inlaid on the headstock in this specific font. Most of them may be inlaid "Epiphone" but they are not inlaid "by Gibson" and if they are, they do not have this same style of font.
