Here we have a real gem of a very rare bass. This bass is a 1 owner from a customer who's Dad bought it for him as a Christmas present 40 years ago. The kid never took it out of the house and rarely played it yet has treasured it all these decades. He reluctantly has to let it go now as he says it's 'time'. Here we have a fairly rare 1962 Supro model 1696T Combo all tube hand wired 1-15" amplifier. The amp is just in from storage and has been gone through by my amp technician of 38 years. This is a prewar Rickenbacher D12 (double 6) lap steel in very good condition. Both bakelite necks that are mounted to the cast body are in perfect condition with the number 21 stamped in the top edge of each headstock. The original tuners work well. The 1 1 / 2 inch prewar horseshoe pickups are beefy and growly. This is a unique and somewhat scarce version of the HM Strat. Our research reveals that a small number of these were a Japan / US collaboration; essentially, US parts assembled in Japan in 1988-89. Notice the uncommon headstock logos and badging. Also, this particular instrument is outfitted with a Kahler tremolo system (as opposed to the later Floyd Rose )

In very nice physical condition and working. Both input jacks were tested and are passing audio. Volume control is also the on / off switch and is working, has some static when turning and likely needs a cleaning. Tone knob is turning but didn't seem to make much of a different tone wise, it's either subtle or may need a cleaning as well. The cool looking square power light lights up when powered on

Gibson NOS Mastertone Banjo Ebony Fingerboard for RB-800 model. The ebony is undyed and a nice dark uniform black. The scale length is 26 3 / 8??, nut width is 1 5 / 16?? and thickness is 7 / 32??. Selling 4 original Gibson Mastertone NOS RB-800 ebony fingerboards. These fingerboards came from the Maudie Moore Estate in Kalamazoo. Maudi Moore was the Engraver and Inlay Artist at Gibson starting in 1969 and continued to work for them even after they moved to Nashville in the late "80's. The fingerboards are a nice, dark ebony that have no cracks and with all fret slots cut , and inlay cavities cut, except the one on left is missing the 7th fret cavity. The board is radiused and slotted with the pearl dots inlaid. It has the longer scale length that Gibson said was 25 5?? but the actual measurement is 25 1 / 4??
