Very rare 1950's German made guitar from Otwin. There's is not much information about this brand out there and this is the only example of this model I was able to find. Project guitar. Here's the good: action is playable all the way up the neck, even tuned to E std. Neck is straight. No cracks in the wood. Frets look good with minor wear. Case is gig-worthy. The bad: there's a JLD Bridge Dr to correct a belly on the top. It's not egregious, but it needs attention. I believe the bracing near the bridge needs re-gluing. Finish cracks in the top. The intonation in 1st position is good, but the closer you get to the 12th fret, the wonkier it gets. Needs a restring.... more

An interesting piece of Carvin history - this is a late-1992 / early-1993 Carvin DC135 transition model. In 1993, Carvin changed their standard neck scale from 24-3 / 4" to 25 " . They also changed their logo size to a smaller one, redesigned the neck heel to be slimmer, and discontinued Floyd Rose and Kahler trems in favor of Wilkinson

We're selling a vintage 1962 Bell 15RV Reverb wooden empty cabinet with original handle, grill cloth and gray cover. This cabinet can also be used with a Gibson GA40 chassis. Surprisingly clean example of a '60s (or '70s?) Japanese viola bass. The action gets high as you go up the fretboard despite the saddles being bottomed out. Neck looks straight. It has 3 patent numbers and an inspected by sticker with a date of either 5 / 22 / 92 or 5 / 22 / 96. It also has a small zip lock with an extra saddle an allen key, and tiny screws.
