Previously owned vintage 1987 Gibson SG red elecric guitar. Its serial number 82577540 and made in the USA. This serial number dates it back to being manufactured 9 / 14 / 1987. Its for a right handed player. Overall it does work and sounds fine but cosmetically it shows its almost 40 years of age! Throughout the whole body there are these crazing lines. I have owned this case for 25 yearsIt has never left the house. From a smoke & pet free home. I added a leather grip handle as the original was a bit loose and twisted. The pick box cover was very loose so I fixed it with leather ties & works great. This guitar and its original case are time capsules. The original stencil artwork looks as it did when new in 1954. Case does have a little wear around one of the edges, and there is a puncture as shown in the picture. Other than that, the case is an amazing condition. The serial number is not that helpful in dating, instead, there is a good Blazer series wiki that pictures all models by year, the headstock logo points to a BL300 model - built in 1980
NOTE: BL300 should be three single coils (like a strat), but at some point this guitar was modified to include a humbucker. (The hole is not very well cut and the screws are crappy )

I found this guitar at an estate auction. Surprised to discover that it is reported to have been built by one of the Yairi Brothers (Kazuo) and model was pitched / played by Hank Williams Jr. Another claim from competing listings is that it is a Martin D-28 clone with bookmatched Back and Top.
