1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Alpine White. Serial number indicates it was made on January 22, 1979 and was the 636 instrument stamped on that day at the Nashville TN production facility. We purchased this LP from Make'N Music in Homewood Illinois on 07 / 10 / 1979. Paid $675 +tax (have original receipt). Guitar is all original with very little wear. Plays and sound amazing. Only 91 Black Thunderbirds were produced in 1976 and here is one of the nicest I've seen. All original, no cracks, no breaks and an ebony fretboard. The neck is straight and really not a lot of playwear for it's age. Overall a fine playing bass. Original pickup cover, bridgecover plus a later hard-shell case that is also in fine condition.
