This is a small body guitar with a Gibson 24 1 / 2" scale length, from around 1964. It's in really good shape for its age. Typical Teisco grade fit and finish, strat -style headstock. I just put a set of extra slinky strings on in it now please and sounds rather nice. The very unusual pick up with triangle pole pieces sounds warm, like a mini humbucker. This listing is for one (1) Stratocaster Pickup cover. This came off a 1959 Fender Stratocaster. This is a 3 mold mark style which was found from late 1954-1960. Very dull, no gloss at all. Might have been cleaned with an abrasive at some point. Like most heavily used stock covers from this particular era, this has a chalky, discolored look. 3 mold marks are very hard to find. In the first couple years they made matching belts you could wear on stage to coordinate with your strap. This one appears to have never been used. It just has some wear from laying around. This saddle is the "fine thread" style. In the earliest Pre-CBS years, coarse thread was used in all 6 positions.
