1961 Fender Musicmaster guitar. Former owner bought this in the 90??s as an original finish guitar, but it is actually a 30+ year old refinish in Dakota Red. Appears to have originally been Olympic White. Finish checking on both sides does not photograph well. Neck appears to have been over-sprayed with clear at the same time. I bought this bass as a project, intending to just replace the electronics as they were absent when I got it. But never had any luck finding a replacement or really anything close. So it hung on my wall for 2 years before I settled for a replacement electronics set(included)-3 knobs instead of original 2- thinking that I would put a stacked pot to handle tone knobs. But never got around to it. It has great promise as it is very well made.
