Custom heavy aged 1954 black guard Telecaster: A fantastic reproduction of the Holy Grail of Telecasters by MJT Guitars in Carthage, Missouri. The early 2000??s build included a swamp ash body from MJT, with neck, control plate and pickguard from Fender. Tuners, pick ups, and bridge are 54 AVRI and feature steel saddles, flat head screws and flat poles in bridge pick up. Heavy aged wear on body and fretboard. Rare Gibson Generation 3 chainsaw protector case. This case from the 1980's was made for SG or Les Paul Junior / Special guitars. (Not made for Les Paul Standard or Customs) Overall excellent shape. This loaded pickgaurd is in decent cosmetic condition for its age with some discoloration on the underside and light cracks near some screw holes. Please check the photos carefully to get an idea of the wear and tear. The pickups sound great and are functional. Please see the video to see it in action. Some potentiometer noise when turning the knobs. I have tried my best to picture any scratches or wear but additional blemishes may be present as the item is used.
