This is a 1969 Gibson Super 400C Acoustic Guitar. We are selling this one on consignment for one of our customers. It's a real beauty! The Guitar is in unbelievable Shape and Condition. Especially for being 55 years old. The only real cosmetic issues I can find are a couple of nicks in the Finish on the Top of the Guitar on the Lower Left side as you are looking at it. Also a very minor Finish flaw on the Back (Top Right). Has 2-3 Minor nicks on the very Top of the Headstock. Other than that ... more

Incredible sounding and playing kalamazoo kg-14 that has been completely gone through by my luthier!

Up for sale is a 1965 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar. This guitar is in fair to good condition. It does show normal signs of age and use, including scratches, dents and dings. The finish on this guitar is crackling, over most of the guitar. There are small holes on the front of the body where I suspect the pick guard use to be. This is a Gibson B15 all mahogany guitar with a Gibson serial # built in the Kalamazoo, Mi. plant in either 1965 or 1968. During this time the Kalamazoo plant was also producing Epiphone guitars. So the big news on this one is there is a crack on the headstock. I had it strung up with some medium gauge acoustic strings and it never seemed to bother it at all but the crack flexes a little bit when torqued upon. I have not screwed it down or glued it which would likely help. The truss rod I imagine is holding it in tighter then it would be if there was not a truss rod and I assume there is a truss rod because there is a truss rod plastic cover although I have not removed it.
