Almost never in fact. This particular guitar is in great shape compared to others  I've seen. There is a few dings on it. Some of the binding is lifting but not too bad. I stumbled across this guitar recently, while out looking for guitars. In retrospect, I may have overpaid a little, given it has been modified from original.

This is quite a unique amp which has been lost to history. Information is a little hard to find, but what I have found on it has been very positive.

These are rare birds, dating from near the end of the Norlin period of Gibson ownership. The S-1 was a sort-of attempt at their own version of a Strat, with a bolt-on neck (with V headstock), 3 single coil pickups and some rather strange switching options

Greco Les Paul made in November 1978 at the FujiGen factory in Japan. Pickups are the original Maxon prototype pickups made on Halloween 1978. This guitar has loads of mojo and sounds like an old school Les Paul should, with plenty of bark and bite.
The bridge volume control could do with a little TLC but other than that this guitar is in perfect working condition, with the odd blemish and buckle rash you??d expect from a near 50-year old guitar.

JTM series was a very short run in 1995 until 1997 until the JCM 600 series was released.

Made by the Fujigen in May of 1978, the MS-1000 was Greco's flagship Mirage / Iceman model identical to the guitar played by Rick Nielsen at the famous Budokan shows in 1979. Mahogany body with a slim 60's profile neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (44mm nut width, 628mm nut width), it weighs 3 9kg's. Loaded with the original Greco PU-0 pickups, Greco PAT tuners and the original harmonica bridge and ornate tailpiece.

Japanese made by Fernandes in 1978, the FPB-50 is a rock solid vintage Precision Bass. Sunburst ash body (featuring the forbidden sticker on the back) with a maple neck (7 25" radius, 42mm nut width), it weighs 3 7kg's. Japanese made in 1978, the FST-70 was the a mid-teir model from Fernandes. Glossy Vintage White finish on what's likely an alder body with a medium profile one-piece maple neck, it weighs 3 5kg's. This one appears to have the original alnico pickups with just a replacement volume knob and replacement string trees. The previous owner removed the headstock logo however the neck stamps are all still in there to help us ID it.

Fresher guitars were built in the famous Matsumoto region of Japan throughout the 1970's and were sold by Kyowa (responsible for importing Charvel, Jackson, Takamine etc). The FSC-682 was one of Fresher's higher end models from 1978 which features a very nice two-piece Sen ash body, slim C profile maple neck and a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard.

A very uncommon build from the Greco Original series of 1979. The Brawler is a compact, nimble design with a modified "tulip" ash body with a set maple neck and 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length), weighs in at a reasonable 3 8kg's. Loaded with a pair of original Maxon single coil pickups and the famous GO style floating tremolo system (missing the arm). In Excellent condition is this Japanese Made Morris W-20 Acoustic guitar. Made in Japan in 1978 . Solid Spruce top Rosewood back and sides Mahogany neck with soft V profile. All original hardware with the exception of a new compensated bone saddle. Frets are excellent with 95% life remaining. Truss rod is functional and tuners are smooth and hold tune. Action is a little over 2mm and can be adjusted to your liking Freshly setup with new string, fret polish etc. I rarely play acoustic these days ... more
