The front of the guitar is thankfully free of any visible finish issues. There is, however, a hole that was drilled for a strap button on the back of the neck heel with an imprint of a strap button. It’s well drilled, with no rough edges, and isn’t chipping in any way. The gold hardware has developed a nice patina, but has been well kept, so there’s no rough corrosion or rust. The pickups in this instrument sound positively massive. During this era of production, Greco was using Maxon pickups, which are prized for their clarity and body. They punch right through a mix when run through a hot amp.”
