The original pancake pickup was broken so I had my luthier replace it with a Gibson Mini-Humbucker, but used the original pancake pickup cover. Very clean and all original (including case and trem bar) late 1960s Kay Vanguard II. Almost no finish wear, and just a couple of minor dings along the edges. Finish is rather ??satin??, however, which likely represents light surface oxidizing over the decades. I had to do a little work to get it playing well; to remedy some amateurish fret lowering (ahhhhh!). The guitar has a very minor rise at the body joint (common with these), but a former owner badly mangled the top three frets in response.... more

This one shows its share of nicks and dings, but overall it presents well for its age
Plays great, the neck on this guitar (as were all Kramer necks from this era) is great
