I have my 1978 Gibson RD Artist up for sale here. It is all original, all stock, nothing has been changed since it was created! All the MOOG electronics work great. 1969 Gibson EB-0 one owner bass with original custom hard sided case. See pic of original owner with the bass in the early ?70s ! Both the bass and case show wear from decades of use. 1976 Les Paul Custom in Wine Red. All in all, it is a very good condition player grade Norlin era custom. It has a fresh refret with medium jumbo frets. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Specials. Pots and switches are original, to my knowledge. The cream plastic is aftermarket. It does come with the original black pick guard. The serial number is "00114507" which dates it to 1976. The pots date to February 1976 (137-7605). The pickups also have the patent number etched into the backs and a "Williamsville" stamp that was only used in the mid-70's
The body is very clean and in excellent condition overall. There are some small dings, scratches and light streaks but nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage guitar. No cracks, modifications or structural issues

Super clean Les Paul Custom all original from 1981. One owner from new, only played in church, has seen no abuse is probably the best example I've seen from this period.
Unusually the gold hardware has virtually no tarnishing, there is just a little lacquer wear on the rear of the neck and tiny marks here and there. Pots date 79 and 80, the Tim Shaw pickups sound brilliant

This is a 1960 Gibson USA Les Paul Custom "Black Beauty" Triple Pickup
If you are in the market for a Vintage Les Paul then you need to look at Les Paul Customs. In the grand scheme of things they are alot more affordable and more rare than the "Bursts"
The chances of finding a 2 pickup version are few and far between, therefore the next option is the classic, iconic triple pickup version

* tolex has wear, some rips with material missing
* switch was pushed through the top=has a small crack
* purple interior, has some wear, rip at bottom & stains
* 2 corners have light cracks=light overbite on bottom edge(visible in last pic)

* came with a 1956 Les Paul Junior (see knob imprints in top lid), but will fit a LP Custom as well
* handle is gone
* golden interior, worn

Here for sale is a beautiful Gibson Barney Kessel Custom from 1965. It's body is in excellent shape, and the sunburst finish has remained vibrant over the years with very little signs of play wear. The electronics are present and correct, with an incredible sounding pair of Patent No. pickups providing plenty of warmth and clarity. 1980 Gibson Sonex-180 Custom electric guitar, made in USA with aftermarket hard case. These models are getting harder and harder to find now, especially in full working order. Looks the part for a guitar over 40 years old and plays really well. Everything functions as it should. Very slight crackle when using a couple of the pots but to be expected and will clear up no doubt with a bit of contact cleaner. The bridge could do with raising a hair on the treble side, but that would be my preference... more

1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Ebony. OHSC. All original with the exception of a refret, so it now plays great. The strap buttons are also modern replacements. No breaks or damage. Usual play wear for a 51 year old guitar but nothing major. Untouched solder. Original T-Tops sound fantastic. Nice vintage low output pickups with clarity. 9lb 13oz so good for a 70s Custom. It feels lighter. A very resonant Les Paul with lots of sustain which sounds great. The original factory fitted Grovers work well... more

Here for sale 1977 Gibson RD Custom in Natural. It's all original and features an active preamp. The controls are 2 volume and treble-based boost / cut, and the two distinctive toggle switches are a normal pickup selector, and the other is a 2-way toggle for turning on / off the bright circuit. The guitar is in very good condition with some minor playing wear. There's some cover tear on the bridge pickup. Comes with hard case
