This vintage set of Fender Jazz Bass ashtray covers were originally installed on a Bass that I bought used in the 70's and sold in the early 80's. I immediately removed these covers and put them in a box where they still are today. I believe that they were produced in 1965 or later. This set is a true vintage item and not a modern reissue. The covers bear the iconic Fender logo and are in excellent condition.

I've owned this amp for several years. It has an amazing buttery rich sound. Good Condition for it's age see photos. Back wrap peeling is the worst of it, but a few other dents and scrapes overall. A couple pots are a little noisy but not bad. I had it serviced shortly after I got it, new tubes, new top handle and a couple replacement knobs is all I've ever done to it. Seriously a great amp I just don't play out anymore and I'm sure someone else will be able to appreciate and get better use... more

THis is a master volume bassman I believe dates to 1973 according to the transformer dates. Healthy sounding and working well. Has had some servicing in its life as the sound tech I purchased it from said it came from a working and touring band. The badge affixed in back should attest as well to someone giving it a go through. I know of no mods, and the transformers all seem original. I photo'd the serial of the two I could see.

Dated through the fender serial number checker it comes up as a 75. I thought it was a 73 but who cares it??s beautiful anyway, and all of the painting on this guitar came from the factory. It was originally a sunburst, but at the time in the 70s, when the punk rock scene came out fender had a surplus of Jazz basses that were sunburst. They decided to overspray them different colors. These came out of a 1974 Bassman Ten combo but are suitable for all Fender amps produced in the early to mid 1970's. These were produced at a time when CTS amp pots were being made in a Mexico facility. I believe they are 100K pots but one has mfg code 000651 and the other 000653 if that aids in identifying them. Here is a beautiful example of a great solid Vintage P-bass! Tunes excellent, action is very low, plenty of life on the frets! This thing plays and feels beautifully! The amp is in overall good condition. It has been tested and works, although it is now missing 3 tubes (one 12AT7 tube and two 7025 tubes). I've turned it on when hooked up to a cabinet and the existing tubes glowed
I've wiped it down, but it could use with a bit of a cleaning. A few minor tears on the tolex, but overall that part is in great condition

For sale : Original 1958 Fender Precision Bass
Restored about 12 years ago in California. This Bass has had quiet a few changes including a professional re-finish to the body and a pro re-fret. It was originally sunburst which is still some there in the pickup Calverty. Both the Neck and Body pencil dates are present, the pickguard is a replacement - I don't know if its Fender made.
