This is one of the very last Tweed-era Deluxe amps produced before the Brown Panel amps were introduced just months later in the '61 model year

1959 Fender Deluxe Tweed Amp - 5E3 Narrow Panel
International iconic amp in all it's vintage glory and in good working condition. Original Aston components and wiring. Rewired for ground. Can use a thorough cleaning due to chrome pitting, surface rust and torn tweed from being a 60+ year old amp. Doesn't get any better than this .

This Fender Vintage 1960 Champ Narrow Panel 5F1 1x8" Tweed Guitar Combo Amp Original is a great addition to any musician's gear collection. The serial number on this rare amp is 60 JH, meaning it was manufactured in August of 1960 The amplifier technology used is vacuum tube and it has a 5W power. This Princeton was built in ?58. This amplifier works great and would be a perfect addition to anyone needing a tweed amp for gigs, or a collector in search of a Princeton that??s seen a show or two, and has a great story. The owner had replaced the original Jensen speaker sometime in the early 80s with a Realistik (radio shack) Replacement that he still has in it to this day. 1959 Fender Tweed Deluxe Guitar Amp (5E3 narrow panel). Original speaker blown and replaced with Jensen 12" 40 watt. Handle replaced as well. Tweed very worn. All electronics working. Hasn't been on a gig since 1980s, been living in my studio. All USA tubes from 1980s if not before. If you're viewing this, you know the deal. Sounds incredible! Stamped code of CJ indicates that it was made in October 1957 in Fullerton California
Had a tube replaced recently. No other work in the 25 years I have owned it. Always only in the studio. No tobacco smoke residue
A classic for sure. Awesome recording amp or mic it up for an awesome stage amp. Quiet operation, classic tone!!
