Vintage guitars for sale: ernie ball

This listing is for one (1) pickguard off a 1977 Music Man Sting Ray Bass I parted out years ago. This original pickguard had a thumbrest added to it at some point in its life. Otherwise, it is stock. Holes have been filled, but are still visible. I held on to this thinking about making a template so I never had to buy one again. Never happened and I will never need it, so here it is. Sold as is.
PS- As far as i know, these only fit the ones produced by CLF Research (Leo Fender) and Charvel.... more

Here??s my 1984 stingray - I??ve had since new. The paintwork started to peel off a while back. At the time, MM were experimenting with finishes; this one, unfortunately, didn??t bond well. (It was the only colour of this kind to be imported to the UK - I know because I worked for the importer!)
I didn??t want to refin it??so it??s been left to peel
Despite the looks, this bass plays like a dream. Super low action (if you like that sort of thing), even with 45-105??s.
