Vintage guitars for sale: bass guitar

This is an Acoustic Control Corporation model 220 bass head. I used this head with a model 301 bottom through the 80??s and 90??s playing clubs and outdoor gigs in the Chicago area in Civil Defense and Scribes. It was the rehearsal room amp for many years and was last used playing the memorial gig for a departed buddy and former bandmate in 2018. It was recapped in 2015 to address hum issues.

This 1965 Fender Precision Bass Guitar is a vintage bass with a black body and an original tortoise color pick guard with the original shielding plate. This a right-handed player with some modifications. The tuners were replaced with the much better Grover tuners and the pickups were replaced with Calig precision pickups and tone potentiometer, making it great sounding bass that stays in tune better. This guitar was loved and played. The owner passed in early 2000??s and was gifted this bass in 1970. His wife said it hasn??t been played since. This is a vintage 1984 Washburn Force 40 4-string bass, made in USA. Neck thru body design.

This bass guitar is super fun to play. It plays great up and down the neck. The frets are in great shape with about 80% fret life left. It's super punchy with the single pickup. The pickup is aftermarket along with the pots are non-original. The pickguard is a replacement. Overall, this is a solid, funky fender bass that you can enjoy! This is a nice Hofner copy of the Beatle Bass Paul used. We believe it to be a Univox or Teisco 1960's. Electronics all work however the tone just has a little static noise when you turn it volume works great and so does the tone other than that drop of static while turning (probably a very good electronics cleaning is in order). Here is a vintage pair of WILDER GUITAR or BASS SPEAKER CABINETS, 2-15 " , Wilder was a small company in Chicagoland that was around in the late 60's to early 70's, original speakers, these cabinets also have ports on the sides if you look closely, jack plates on the backs are replacements, the cabinets show average wear for their age, nothing unusual, they are not perfect, I tested them out and they are working fine, these are for pickup in the Daytona Beach, FL area. Truss cover is non-original and only has one screw since the holes don't line up. There's lots of wear and discoloration in the paint. Dings and scratches throughout. Worst offenders pictured.
