1958 Fender Duo Sonic in its original Desert Sand finish

Someone attempted to route this guitar and cut off a good amount of the wood under the pickguard. Please study all photos for proper understanding of condition

The pickups on this guitar are not the original pickups, the pickups are Custom Shop Seymour Duncan Antiquities that were put in more recently. Aside from the pickup switch, everything underneath the pickguard has been replaced.

The guitar is a hollow body instrument, with mahogany back, sides, and a spruce top. The original case comes with the guitar.
The Guitar plays, and one pickup works. The guitar will need a new neck, and pickup wiring to be exactly where most will want it. The guitar has been well loved as you can tell. I sadly need to sell, and had planned to do the work myself.

Based on Catalog Information, and given the serial number of 5032 (Carvin started with #5000 in 1970), this fine guitar could have been built anytime during 1970-72. However, we're going with 1972 because Carvin dating is not accurate and the only mention of this burst body style is in the 1972 catalog

This is a used Eminence 12?? speaker made in 1996 for a Crate Vintage Club 2112RB (reverb and black tolex) tube amplifier. It has a paper former, handles 30 watts, with a 16-ohm impedance. It??s in very good shape, and sounds great! On a whim I added an aftermarket 4-1 / 8?? JBL aluminum dust cover just to see how it affected the sound.
