Here is a very sweet old MIJ bass in ridiculously good shape for it's age
The wiring LOOKS original The battery compartment does not have a battery
The pickups have polepieces tgat look different but i don't know if they came this way. The middle switch doesn't seem to control anything. But again, I am unaware of any modifications.
The bass guitar plays excellent and sounds HUGE. It's a great bass for under $1000 and around FORTY YEARS OLD

This 1984 Bass is solid, and has a good thick sound. Plays great!
She's been a real workhorse of a bass, and shows lots of good honest wear, with several dings, and nicks throughout. (See pictures)

The X630N Electra bass, part of the Phoenix Series, was last made in 1981 or 1982. It??s a unique and fun bass that was produced by Electra, a brand that boasted high-profile endorsements from musicians like Peter Frampton, The Doobie Brothers, Leslie West, Elvin Bishop, and Skunk Baxter. 1983 Matsumoku Japanese (highly collectable) Electra Phoenix X150 electric guitar. This guitar has been used very little and is in excellant shape except for three dents to back of the guitar and a scratch to inside too horn cut out. With minimal pick scratches, a streight neck and no wear to the frets   Will need a set of strings. Uses two 9volt batteries for pre amp

This guitar does not make sound. The electronics need to be gone through. The five way switch selector switch is loose in the body as well as the knobs are scratchy and there??s some pain and chips and it??s just generally not very well cared for. That being said there??s no cracks in the wood and the machine had seem to be in good condition selling this guitar is for parts or repair

1983 Electra Phoenix X185 double cut electric guitar, metallic silver, HSH pickup configuration, with coil taps, and phase reversal push / pull pots
The neck has an indentation above the first fret on the bass side. See pics. It does not affect playability. There is a neck pocket check on the lower side. The finish is very nice. It has a few tiny nicks in the clear, and some swirling around the rear tremolo cover. The tremolo cover is scratched and has a crack (see pics)

Selling my Electra Phoenix electric guitar in striking Lipstick Red finish. This guitar was built in the famous Matsumoku factory in Japan, 40 years ago in 1983. Given its age it would make a great 40th birthday / anniversary present this year :)
Guitar is in great condition for its age but there are some marks shown in pics. Comes in original case (case has some wear) and original whammy bar
