This is a cool vintage instrument. We just put fresh strings on it. Sounds and plays so good! Straight neck. Fully functional. Made in Italy. It has electronics. The jack has something a little off in that if you jiggle the cord sometimes the sound will cut in and out. It could be the tip needs pressed in more. Simple fix. Sounds good as an acoustic. This guitar has some dings and scratches over the years giving it character, but nothing major. Someone will love this blast from the past!

Vintage 1960s EKO Ranger XII 12 String Acoustic Guitar with the trapeze tailpiece - Made In Italy. The guitar is built like a tank and in nice condition with the typical ??cracks?? in the nitrocellulose finish of these old guitars (see pics).

Robust, which is to say built like a tank. Quite heavy, bolt-on neck. Holds tune pretty well for a 12-string (these facts are probably connected). Natural finish; condition is good but not immaculate - basically just a few edge marks from half a century of use.

Eko Studio L acoustic guitar. Made in Italy, I think in the 70??s.

The guitar was professionally repaired (last picture): the top and the bottom were separating in a section of the body, but it got fixed and partially painted.
It can barely be noticed at first sight, and it is as good as new. Apart from that, it has a few bumps, and superficial crack on the paint (extremely common on these Eko vintage guitars), and that??s about it.

Really nicely made instrument with a contoured back and a slightly smaller body shape which makes it more comfortable to play than a dreadnought

This was the very first model made and one year made only prototype of the very successful Eko Ranger which is still made to this day although due to legislation not with the same standard of materials

Clearing out my late mother's house and found a number of musical instruments including this guitar. I am listing some of the other instruments too.
I don't know much about the guitar. However, I believe, following a bit of research, that this could be an EKO guitar, model KD-28 made in Italy. It appears to be in pretty good condition with only a small chip in the body (see the photo) and the tuners work fine.

I have for auction one of two EKO acoustic guitars. This is a rare vintage P2 model, made in Italy in 1963. It's in good all round used condition for a sixty year old guitar and has a new set of strings fitted. The guitar will probably need a setup and the strings need to 'bed in'. I notice that it has one replacement tuner button and has wear and marks commensurate with age and usage

A genuine Italian built Eko ranger acoustic. I have had this guitar since 1970's and it has only been used occasionally at home never used at gigs etc. It has had one machine head replaced and because one holding screw had sheared off the replacement head is at a different angle to original, it still works perfectly. Wonderful workhorse of a guitar. The usual lacquer cracks are present (as they are on all of these old Ekos) but this guitar sounds and plays so good.
