Built in the 1960's in Italy by Meazzi, they were basically dead-on rip off copies of Danelectro instruments built out of actual wood instead of masonite. If you have ever played one of these, you know that they are very similar and play just as well (if not better, due to the fact that they have truss rods) This bass has been professionally converted to fretless at some point in the past. Would probably mail this disassembled I did not get sound from the jack but I would say the wiring needs addressed. See photosI had a string on there in photos to check sound and to kind of hold the bridge in place. You can see paint that has been added and looks like there was a sticker on the front at one time and some paint removed from the back of the neck.
