Interesting c. 1970 Framus Country and Western model dreadnought. Made in West Germany. Unusual in that it has a dovetail joint rather than the odd bolt-on neck more often seen here. Looks to have all original parts, but I don??t have any thumbwheels on the adjustable bridge. It??s all the way down, so it rests directly on the top (better for tone anyway). Something of a museum piece, this 335 has been lovingly looked after after and kept in a case most it??s life. As a result, the red black burst finish is near on immaculate with bright shiny chrome with only very minor oxidisation spots on the tailpiece and neck plate. It??s gorgeous. Fully laminate construction (spruce / rosewood) with an Indian rosewood fingerboard, nato neck (light V profile). Lower bout measures 38cm and the upper bout is 28cm, the action at the 12th fret on the low E string is around 3mm and it would love a neck reset (hence the price) however it plays nicely as it sits as a loungeroom guitar!

Made in the USA in the early 1970's, this is the short-lived revised model of the J-50 with the dreadnought shape that stepped away from the J-45 style design. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, it weighs just under 2kg's. 43mm nut width with a 2 5mm action on the low E string at the 12th fret, it plays very comfortably with a slim 60's style neck profile. Made in Japan in the late 70??s (serial number missing), the SS-38 Silver Star was Tokai??s version of the CBS era Fender Stratocaster. Made in the 1970's, Founder was a sister brand to Yamaki and Joodee and produced guitars mainly sold within Japan. A basic Stratocaster model with similarities to a Greco SE-500, this Founder model has a solid body with a maple neck and maple fingerboard and weighs 3 7kg's. The LG-23 is obviously heavily influenced by Fender but is a really nice hybrid of a few guitars with a smaller, Strat / Bullet shaped body with a really nice shape The neck is a 24 75" scale maple neck that has a thick but comfortable feel. Classic Japanese built mid to late 1970's Les Paul. Looks great and is in very good condition for it's age. No structural flaws and it plays fantastic with a nice low, buzz free action. The pickups really scream with distortion and the guitar has a killer piercing tone for garage / punk rock. Really nice rosewood fretboard that plays slick and fast. Japanese made in the 1970's as part of Yamaha's "Super Bass" series, the SB-600 was a mid-range model aimed at competing with Fender's Jazz Bass. Solid Nato body with a three-tone sunburst finish, maple neck with a walnut skunk stripe (34" scale, 44mm nut width, 20 frets), it weighs 4 2kg's. Looks to have had the knobs replaced and the pickguard slightly modified near the top horn otherwise it seems to be original.
