    Great Amp Cover

I've recently purchased a new JC-120 amp for its true stereo performance and wanted to keep this amp new and looking good. So I also purchased this amp cover and it greatly exceed my expectations. Its made from an interesting padding material that is Weather resistant and protected against moderate shock due to the padding and high quality snug fit. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to protect their investment. Joe Rao - New Albany, Ohio

  • Solid State but like a Tube Amp and your Tubes are always in a good mood.

Very clean, can crunch like a tube amp, and probably the most compatible amp for a Boss GT-100 & Roland GR-55 Effects box limited to... ("JC-120 Made In Japan "only") not USA (diff. rear plugs and electronic architecture). Nothing wrong with the distortion with its mild colors and to my taste it is perfect for Conservatory Jazz plugged stand-alone. Otherwise for Jazz Fission and all it's effects, even my Blackstar HT-100 tube will need the help of a GT-100 or GR-55 box. Cons: Better with integrated single input plug controlled by a pedal to switch from clean voice to distorted / chorus / Vib, Hi & Lo instead of 4 plugs. A Standby switch added will be a big help if you have to pull the plug in and out from all 4 of them. Also can take quite a real estate in your living room.

  • Vintage JC is the best.

I had a reissue JC120 and it didn’t sound as good as the vintage JC I just bought. Something different with the chorus and the mids sound better on the vintage units. Also if you crank it up, it is smoother and less harsh, kinda like it has a slight bit of compression. I am missing the effect loop but that isn’t much of a big deal as it takes effects very good on the front end.

  • Roland Jazz Chorus JC-120. This amp is terrific.

I have or have owned lots of the major league tube heads and several tube combos over the years. Always wanted to see what the JC-120 hype was about, so scored an old clean one on Ebay. Have to say I have been digging it since the day it arrived. It has tremendous punch, power and headroom. Jazz or country, plug straight in. Blues or rock, pick your pedal and front-load your tone. This amp will respond well, and provide tone and definition to step out and above any mix. It really is a wonderful tool. Recommended.

  • roland amp

This amp is top of the line in quality of sound and effects. It is big and bulky, but I have always been told the heavy stuff is the better stuff in sound equipment. I couldn't be pleased any more. Great sound!
