Lightweight and Awesome to Play
The Telecaster is Awesome and so easy to play. I have a Gibson Les Paul which is still my favorite, but it's so heavy when compared to the Telecaster. And for the style, playability, and especially the price, the Telecaster is so fantastic that I am almost tempted to call it a tie between the two guitars. Each brings their own qualities to the scene. So the Les Paul may be the Electric Guitar Heavy Weight (both figuratively and literally), but pound for pound, The Tele holds its own!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great player for the price
To my surprise, this Player Tele play better than my Fender American Professional II at a fraction of the price. Love the independent bridge, easy to adjust the action. Stay in tune. Con? This guitar had the worst fret ends job done ever. You'll cut yourself if you play too close to the fret-ends. The spur will get you. Luckily I used to be a guitar builder, so I still have the tool to file them up and now it plays like a dream. You won't find such problem in Japanese, American, or even Indonesian made guitars. ProStarAudio rocks, but not as much as this tele!
Man what an awesome guitar! The neck is super smooth and the pickups are perfect. Of course if you are looking for a Tele you probably already know that. The player series made in Mexico is an awesome guitar! Watch the YouTube comparison videos between it and the American made...give you a hint, you can save $1,000 and have an awesome guitar! I bout this "used" from ProStarAudio. I usually don't like to buy used instruments but the return policy at ProStarAudio is best in the league! If you are not happy they give you the option of applying every penny spent tword a new version of whatever you were buying. So, without hesitation I bought this and when it arrived I could not believe my luck...this guitar was perfect! Not a flaw and it still has all the protective plastic, even the tags still tied to the strings. Not sure how they consider that used lol but I am not complaining. ... It IS new. To everyone that was "watching" this guitar - YOU missed out (and Thank you). My daughter's NEW Telecaster Player is an AWESOME instrument (I have been playing since 1978). The price, playability, AND TONE of this gig is a HUGE step up from her Squire Tele. All of the raves about the Mexico made Fender are true - VERY impressive! And Sam Ash Direct killed it. They are my new go to (first). From order to delivery - 36 hours!
