The case is rough so I am only including it because it will assist in protection during shipment in addition to a cardboard box. Like a violin the older the wood the better the sound resonates and I love how this parlor guitar sounds! I have so many projects and have hung on to this guitar long enough. I wanted to take it to a luthier and have them set it up. I would want the action lower as I do not see a truss rod. I can see a small uniform space 3/4 inches long on the back side of the neck where the piece of wood extends to the back of the guitar. I took a pic of it for you to see. I haven't seen that before and not sure if it is supposed to be there. If not, what is the proper fix. Again another reason to let a professional do it. I have only stored this guitar in the original case it came in. I found it about 5 years ago at a thrift store just like this and have kept it all this time because it will sound great !”
