Pleasantly surprised with Hagstrom Viper quality.
Heard of the for years. This is the first one I've owned and played. I absolutely love it. Have played it everyday since receiving it. It makes my 27th guitar. The other are getting a bit jealous. Thanks again for this quality, used guitar (2009 Model Viper)!

Great guitar!
I've bought 3 of these, and all were stellar. Great sounding guitars with really nice necks. My first one was a IIP, which had very nice P90 pickups and a super-slim bolt-on neck. The next was a Viking deluxe which had a similar neck, but it was a set rather than bolted on. The third was a regular Viking which had humbuckers and a set neck. This one has a much beefier neck, which is virtually identical in profile to an ES335. I had an ES335, and I sold it. All 3 of my Vikings were as good as the Gibson in both sound and feel. 2 of the 3 were set up just about perfectly right out of the box, but the 3rd one (the one with the fatter neck, which was a factory blem) needed a truss rod adjustment, intonation adjustment and dressing of some high frets. After a bit of tweaking it was great, and is rapidly becoming my favorite guitar.
