Made by S Yairi (the uncle of K Yairi) in Japan in 1976, the YD-303 has a solid spruce top with a laminate Brazillian rosewood back / sides, ebony bridge and a dark rosewood fingerboard, mahogany neck with a slight V profile (45mm nut width), it weighs just over 2kg's.
